A car crash in Paterson Great Falls National Park in Passaic County early Sunday forced officials to temporarily close the scenic landmark. A park alert posted on the Paterson Great Falls Facebook page at 9:15 a.m. Sunday notified visitors that Overlook Park, located within Paterson Great Falls, was closed “due to a car accident in our parking lot.” Overlook Park’s main feature is an amphitheater facing the falls.
