Rail service to a coastal town has been cut off as police search the area for track trespassers. Operators have switched off power to the train lines surrounding Whitstable after a man was reported trespassing on the tracks. Southeastern warned at 6.38pm on Friday that some services between Faversham and Ramsgate may be delayed while the disruption was dealt with.
