A Birmingham man has been sentenced to over five years in federal prison for possessing a stolen U.S. Postal Service (USPS) key and stolen mail, announced U.S. Attorney Prim F. Escalona and U.S. Postal Inspection Service Inspector-in-Charge Scott D. Fix, Houston Division. Derrell Allen Matthews, 27, was sentenced to 63 months in prison by U.S. District Court Judge Anna Manasco.
