Recently, the Android Headlines team shared new details about Samsung’s upcoming devices. It seems that Samsung may abandon the Plus model of the Galaxy S25 series.

Although leaks have confirmed the existence of the regular Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra, the Galaxy S25 Plus has not appeared. The model numbers of the upcoming Samsung phones are as follows: SM-S931B/DS, SM-S938B, SM-S938U, SM-S938N, and SM-S9380. The usual Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra are here, but unfortunately, the S25 Plus is missing.

The initial leaks about the Galaxy S24 series back in July 2023 pointed to a traditional lineup of three models: S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. However, recent leaks indicate a potential change in Samsung’s tradition, as the S25 lineup will have only two models. It seems that the company is unhappy with the sales pace of the S24 Plus, which led to the decision to abandon the S25 Plus model.

Previously, Samsung used a better display in the S24+ compared to the regular S24. While the S23 and S23+ had screens with a resolution of 1080 x 2340, this year’s Plus model boasts a higher resolution display (1440 x 3120). Despite this, it seems that users are still not convinced enough of the benefits of the Plus model.
