UEFA will permit both Manchester United and Manchester City to play in the same European competitions as their sister clubs this season, the UK Times reports. UEFA’s Club Financial Control Board (CFCB) is expected to issue the ruling on Monday, but with certain conditions attached. As it stands, the current rules stipulate that no teams can play in the same competition as another club that has shared ownership.
