Brandon Macdonald-Williams and Miriam Moukdad won 800m freestyle medals during the opening weekend of the Swim England Hertfordshire County Championships. The former claimed silver and the latter took bronze as Bishop’s Stortford Swimming Club enjoyed a fine start to the competition. The athletes had to race 32 lengths of a 25-metre pool, with the event being the only one contested in the opening round.
