Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh) [India], June 2 (ANI): After the Bharatiya Janata Party secured 46 seats in the 60-member Arunachal Pradesh assembly, Chief Minister Pema Khandu thanked the people and assured them that the BJP government would fulfill all the promises made by the party in its poll manifesto. Votes were counted for 50 Assembly segments for which elections were held in the northeastern State along with Lok Sabha polls on April 19. The rest 10 seats were won by the BJP party uncontested.
