The iQOO 12 was released back in December last year, and its successor is already in the works. So far, we’ve heard that the iQOO 13 will feature a 1.5K resolution 8T LTPO flat OLED display and will use Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 to boost performance.
Today, these specifications were once again confirmed by a source at Digital Chat Station, which also shared some new details, including information about the Pro model.
According to the source, the iQOO 13 will support 100W charging to recharge the “big battery”. Although the exact size of the battery is not mentioned, many of this year’s flagships, such as OnePlus 13 and Oppo Find X8, are rumored to feature 6000 mAh batteries.
Considering that the iQOO 13 will be competing with these phones, we can expect it to have a similar battery capacity. A previous report suggests that the phone will actually have a 6000 mAh battery, but it mentions 120W charging, which contradicts the latest leak.
Moving on to the iQOO 13 Pro, it is said to be powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip but will have a quad-curved 2K screen with higher resolution.
However, there is some uncertainty about its release. Digital Chat Station claims that the Pro model is “not yet confirmed,” which casts doubt on its release this year.
This is according to a new leak, but the situation may change as there is still a considerable amount of time before the launch of the iQOO 13 series. From the latest report, we can conclude that the Pro model is indeed in development; the idea has not been discarded altogether.
