Heartland will compete in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in the new season despite their relegation last term. The Naze Millionaires will take the slot of Beyond Limits Academy in the NPFL. Beyond Limits Academy gained promotion to the NPFL from the Nigeria National League (NNL) last season.
