Former President Donald Trump’s sentencing in New York has been pushed back from July 11 to Sept. 18 — if it happens at all. In a letter on Tuesday, New York Justice Juan Merchan responded to an unopposed request from Trump’s attorneys to delay sentencing in light of the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that the former president enjoyed some immunity for acts he made while in office.
