Prolific leaker Digital Chat Station recently shared information on Weibo that the upcoming flagship phone will have a 6000 mAh silicon battery. Although the leak did not specify which phone it is, the timing and previous leaks indicate that it is most likely the Xiaomi 15 Pro.

The leak also hints at a larger 6200mAh± silicon battery currently in development, likely for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

According to Xiaomi’s typical release schedule, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to arrive in February 2025. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 15 Pro will be released earlier, around October or November, after Qualcomm announces its Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip.

Leaks so far have shown that the Xiaomi 15 Pro will have a 50-megapixel primary sensor with variable aperture from f/1.4 to f/2.5. It will be accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.

The front panel will feature a 2K display with a center hole and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Security will be ensured by a fingerprint sensor under the screen, which provides a seamless unlocking experience.

As for the build, the device will reportedly have a metal middle frame, with the possibility of a more premium titanium special edition. It is also reported that the device will have a thickness of 8.5 mm and weigh about 220 grams.

Standard features such as full-featured NFC, infrared remote control, dual speakers, and IP68 dust and water protection are also expected.

In addition, today’s leak from Digital Chat Station mentions a new Xiaomi tablet with a massive 8650 mAh battery, with a typical capacity of over 9000 mAh. Although it is not yet clear what kind of tablet we are talking about, we can assume that it could be part of the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 7 series.
