Plans have been revealed by McDonald’s to open a new drive-thru. The fast food giant wants to open a new site in Ramsgate, next to a Tesco supermarket. It would see the drive-thru pitched up next to the existing store in Manston Road on a piece of unused land, which bosses say is an “ideal location for a new restaurant to serve and support residents, while not taking away from Thanet’s housing targets”.
