Earlier, it was rumored that Samsung chose a design similar to AirPods for its upcoming TWS headphones of the Galaxy Buds 3 series. Samsung is going to present the new product at the Galaxy Unpacked event next week. However, real images of Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have already appeared thanks to X tipster Roland Quandt. You can check out the design in the images below.

As you can see, Samsung’s new headphones have abandoned the traditional bean-shaped design in favor of long-stemmed headphones. It seems that the earbud is much longer than the AirPods Pro 2.

The Korean source suggested that this design change is related to the need for a larger internal volume, which will allow the company to increase battery capacity and even place more components inside. Previous reports also hint that the Galaxy Buds 3 series will be able to utilize some of the Galaxy AI capabilities. The addition of new features may be the reason for the design change, which may allow the company to place more or more powerful components inside the headphones.

An image of the basic Galaxy Buds 3 (along with the charging case) was leaked last month. These earbuds have a stem-like design, but the stem looks a bit shorter than the Pro model. The standard version was shown in silver color, showing off the unique angular design of the stem. In the Pro model, only parts of the design are visible, and upon closer inspection, it doesn’t appear that the stem is rounded either.

Nevertheless, these are leaked images, and they may represent one of the designs that Samsung has been experimenting with. So we may or may not see this particular design when Samsung officially unveils the product next week.
