A flood alert has been issued for Kent following heavy rainfall. The Environment Agency has warned levels continue to rise on the River Darent, from Westerham to Dartford, due to persistent rain over the last 48 hours. Water continues to rise at Hawley and there is a risk of flooding of roads and low-lying land tonight and Sunday.
