The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, joined a choreographed dance in Pristina on Tuesday July 2, in celebration of the 4th of July this week. The rain-soaked dance took place during a reception at the American Embassy to mark the 248th anniversary of US independence. Kosovo considers the US to be its strongest Western ally after American troops launched an operation in 1999 that triggered the end of Serbian control over the state.
