Taiwan’s coast guard urged Chinese authorities to immediately release a Taiwanese fishing vessel and its crew which it stated had been forcibly boarded and then taken to a Chinese port near the Taiwan-held island of Kinmen off the Fujian coast on TuesdaY evening.
