OnePlus is working on a new premium tablet model that could be called OnePlus Pad 2. This high-end tablet offers top-notch hardware, such as a flagship-class processor. But even before the official announcement, the device was spotted on a popular benchmarking platform. So let’s check it out.
The upcoming tablet of the Chinese brand was spotted on GeekBench under the model number OPD2404. It is worth reminding that the original OnePlus Pad came with the model number OPD2203. Looking at the list of benchmarks, the device scored 2,079 points in the single-core test and 6,077 points in the multi-core test. Such high results were achieved thanks to the processor upgrade.
The latest generation of OnePlus Pad was equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. Although the newer OnePlus Pad 2 may be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. This flagship chipset is paired with 8 GB of RAM, but we can expect other memory options as well. This model runs Android 14 out of the box. Unfortunately, other fine details like specifications, design, etc. are still unknown.
But based on previous reports, the Pad 2 is rumored to feature a tall 12.4-inch front-facing display with a 90Hz refresh rate. There is a possibility that it will offer an OLED panel. This tablet is expected to be powered by a massive 9510 mAh battery that probably supports fast charging. So stay tuned as we will be providing more updates.
