A road is closed and bus journeys are delays after a crash near a busy town centre. Police have shut parts of King Street in Maidstone following the incident. It is affecting bus services in the town with Stagecoach having to amend journeys. The bus operator posted on X saying: “Due to an RTC in King Street, Maidstone, the 10X will only serve as far as Haynes Garage. “The X3 will only serve as far as Albion Place. “Police have said the road is due to remain closed until approximately 15:00 – will update shortly.” Police have been approached for comment.
