On Friday evening at Churchill Downs on a wet and sloppy track, Thorpedo Anna brought home one of the biggest titles in thoroughbred racing claiming the 150th Kentucky Oaks crown. The No. 5 horse was in control from the start. After getting out of the gates hot and quickly taking the lead, Thorpedo Anna saw herself even at the beginning of the stretch run but then turned on the jets.
