In the centre of Bishop’s Stortford, Isabel Hospice’s Compassionate Café service runs every Wednesday morning from the Methodist Church, exhibiting the heart of a caring community, writes Emma Cooper. A multitude of ages join Isabel Hospice volunteers for a friendly chat, a drink and a chance to release the tension of the week.
