Inspired by a recent talk given by a RNLI volunteer, a Rotary club decided to hand over a cheque which will help save lives at sea. Lynn’s Rotary Club presented a £450 cheque to Hunstanton RNLI after lifeboat Spirit of West Norfolk returned from a training launch on Sunday, July 21. Mel Robson from the 20-strong club said the money came from a £250 donation from Rotary, along with £200 she raised by hosting a garden party at her home in Downham with her husband Paul.
