The Great Thatcham Duck Race is returning at the start of next month. Thatcham & District Rotary Club’s annual family-friendly duck race – now a well-established tradition – will be held on Sunday, September 1, from 10.45 to 12.45pm. Crowds will gather at The Rowbarge pub in Woolhampton for a noon start, and then will release thousands of colourful rubber ducks into the Kennet and Avon Canal just below Woolhampton Lock.
