Raheem Sterling has been welcomed to Arsenal with open arms following his deadline day transfer from Chelsea. The winger joined Mikel Arteta’s project in the dying embers of deadline day, completing a deal to spend the 2024/25 campaign on loan in North London. It was a difficult summer for the Englishman, who after playing a part in Chelsea’s pre-season, was axed by Enzo Maresca, seeing his squad number passed on.
