A major road was closed for three hours after a police car was involved in a crash with another vehicle. The coastbound carriageway of the A2 was shut following the collision just past the Darenth Interchange at about 8.50pm last night. A roadside barrier was damaged but no serious injuries were reported. Investigations into the circumstances are ongoing. The other car involved in the crash was not being pursued by police.
