Two people have been charged after a balaclava-clad trio assaulted a man before stealing cash. The crime happened on February 12, at around 7:45pm, at a property in The Warren in Whitstable. It sparked a police investigation with an appeal being launched in a bid to find the suspects, who were said to have been wearing balaclavas with holes around the eyes and mouth. Once inside the house, they assaulted a man with a weapon and stole a large quantity of cash. After leaving the house they are thought to have fled in a black BMW.
