The man who killed two people at a gay bar in Oslo during the Norwegian capital’s annual Pride celebrations in 2022 was sentenced by a court on Thursday to 30 years in prison, the maximum length possible. The Oslo District Court found the 45-year-old Iranian-born Norwegian man guilty of murder and terrorism charges. The court also ordered him to pay compensation to the victims and bereaved totalling more than 110 million Norwegian kroner ($10.4 million).
