The pro-Iranian Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah has fired some 200 missiles and drones into areas in northern Israel, it said on Thursday, to avenge the previous day’s killing of one of their commanders. “As part of the response to the attack and assassination carried out by the enemy in the Al-Housh area in the city of Tyre … the Islamic Resistance [Hezbollah] carried out attacks with more than 200 missiles of various types,” a statement by the group said.
