The Spanish province of Catalonia is being hit by heavy rainfall, after the natural disaster in the neighbouring Valencia region last week. The coastal area around the provincial capital of Barcelona has been particularly affected by the storm in Catalonia on Monday. The airport in Barcelona diverted 15 flights in the morning, the Spanish Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente, wrote on X.
