East Herts Council has parted company with the director of Hertford’s £30m theatre as Everyone Active works on the launch of the newly renamed venue. BEAM, a multi-purpose arts and culture centre, was completed by the authority’s Green and Liberal Democrat administration, despite escalating costs, and hopes are high that bumper audiences will make it a money-spinner.
