German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock have congratulated pro-European Moldovan President Maia Sandu on winning a second term in office. “Sandu has safely guided the Republic of Moldova through difficult times and set her country on a European course,” the chancellor wrote on the social media platform X on Monday.
