The second round of the presidential election was held in Moldova. After the counting of votes at polling stations abroad began, Maia Sandu took the lead in the overall vote. Thus, according to preliminary estimates of 92.52% of the vote, the current President of the Moldovan state, Maia Sandu, has more votes than her opponent, Prosecutor General Alexandr Stoianoglo.
