Paris [France], August 4 (ANI): Indian athlete Parul Chaudhary was ranked eighth in round 1 of the women’s 3000m steeplechase event and missed out on the medal race at the ongoing Paris Olympics on Sunday. Only the top five athletes in the heat progressed to the medal event and Parul finished in eighth place for which she had to miss the final. The Indian athlete clocked 9:23.39 in the qualification round at the Stade de France.
