Drivers are facing a traffic headache until next week on a well-used seaside route. Maison Dieu Road has been closed on the north-bound route in Dover since this morning. The stretch is out-of-bounds between the A20 Townwall Street outside Travelodge to the A258 Castle Street. The closure is to allow broadband provider Openreach to carry out emergency repairs. An image shared by KCC Highways shows cones across the road and contractors near Cineworld. The route is expected to reopen on Wednesday (October 9).
