There was a pandemonium in Ukpata and Opanda communities in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State caused by the killing of two young men by suspected herdsmen on Saturday. A yet-to-be-identified student of Nsukka High School was shot at Ukwuakpu, between Ukpata and Uvuru communities. According to reports, the student was pleading with the herdsmen not to rape his sister when he was shot. The rape victim is now receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
