The government of El Salvador has ordered the demolition of a monument commemorating the civil war (1980-1992). The monument is not only aesthetically terrible, but also glorifies the “pact between the murderers” of the Salvadoran people, wrote President Nayib Bukele, who is currently on leave for six months, on Wednesday on the platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
