Repeat offender Thomas Drach has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for robbery and attempted murder by a German regional court on Thursday. Drach, known for the kidnapping of tobacco heir Jan Philipp Reemtsma in 1996, received his sentence on the 100th day of his almost two-year trial, which took place under high security precautions.
