Kelly Rae only bought six-month-old Myrtle last month, and she joins three other ‘sister’ hens – Maude, Mitzi and Mabel – in her back garden. Kelly is from Bradford in West Yorkshire, and was thrilled when new hen Myrtle laid her first egg. She went to collect it straight away, but was then astonished when she noticed what size it was.
