Two men have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent after a town centre attack put one victim in hospital. Police were called to New Rents in Ashford at the weekend to a report that a man and woman had been assaulted. Both were injured and the man was taken to The William Harvey Hospital for treatment. Officers had been called shortly before 11pm on Sunday. East Kent CID arrested two Ashford men two days later.
