A major emergency response was launched to rescue a person trapped in mud on the coast. Police and paramedics, as well as members of HM Coastguard, were sent to Folkestone beach last night. The casualty needed to be rescued after getting into trouble next to the Harbour Arm shortly after 8.40pm.
