Xiaomi has silently launched a new Redmi phone on the European market. This is the Redmi 13 4G. The device replaced last year’s Redmi 12 model. The latest novelty has retained the same design, but has received a number of updates compared to its predecessor. The Redmi 13 4G has the same design with two protruding camera sensors on the back and an LED flash. The phone is IP53 certified for protection against dust and water. The fingerprint scanner is located on the side and is integrated into the power button. On the front, the Redmi 13 4G has a 6.79-inch display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
In terms of optics, Redmi 13 4G has a dual rear camera consisting of a 108MP main sensor paired with a 2MP depth lens. The first camera has been improved from 50 megapixels on its predecessor. However, the latest model lacks an ultra-wide-angle module. The front panel also has an updated 13-megapixel front camera for selfies.
Under the hood, the Redmi 13 4G is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra chipset. It has up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The device is powered by a slightly tweaked 5030 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The smartphone runs on Android 14 based on HyperOS.
The Redmi 13 4G starts at €199.99 for the 6GB + 128GB version and €229.99 for the 8GB + 256GB version. It is available in some European markets and is offered in blue, pink, gold, and black colors.
