German Development Minister Svenja Schulze plans talks with western African leaders next week after the withdrawal of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger from the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). Schulze is due to meet ECOWAS Commission President Omar Touray on Monday, her ministry said on Sunday.
