Many games were again called off because of waterlogged pitches on Saturday but our featured match did go ahead and was a six-goal thriller between Leverington Sports A and Hampton A. Robert Hitchcock scored all three goals for Sports as they drew the mid-table Peterborough League Division Four clash 3-3. In the Premier Division Leverington’s first team stay in the championship race with a 2-0 home win over Holbeach United Reserves. The win keeps them in fifth place, nine points from leaders Uppingham Town but with four games in hand. There was, however, a setback for Tydd in their fight again…
