A new major leak has given us a complete look at the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE inside and out. So here’s everything you need to know about its features, colors, design, and more.
The news comes from a well-known leaker, Sudhanshu Ambhore, who shared the information on X. He shared images of the Galaxy Watch FE from different angles, showing off the round display and silicone straps. The device can also be seen in three color options, which include light blue, light pink, and black variants. Ambor confirmed a number of key specifications of the upcoming smartwatch.
The Galaxy Watch FE reportedly has a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 396 x 396 pixels. Under the hood, this model may feature the Exynos W920 SoC, which is a dual-core processor clocked at 1.18GHz. This chip is paired with 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. It runs on the Wear OS operating system with the Samsung One UI Watch 5.0 interface. The device is powered by a 247 mAh battery, which lasts for 30 hours of battery life. The device is compatible with Android 11 or later and devices with at least 1.5 GB of RAM.
In terms of design, the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE can offer up to 50 meters of water resistance (5ATM/IP68). According to rumors, the case is made using aluminum and is certified according to military standards MIL-STD-810H for durability. Sudhanshu shared the smartwatch’s connectivity features, namely: WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS. There is also a microphone, speaker, and vibration motor, as well as various sensors such as bioelectrical impedance analysis, electric heart rate sensor, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, accelerometer, barometer, brightness barometer, and heart rate (optical).
