MARION COUNTY, Fla. \- Danielle Jane Liles, a 41-year-old woman from Summerfield, Florida, has been sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison for wire fraud. Liles was also ordered to repay the victimized alternative school $766,553.54 and forfeit $616,793.43 in ill-gotten gains. Court documents reveal that from 2016 to 2023, Liles, who managed payroll at Silver River Mentoring and Instruction (SRMI), issued 137 unauthorized paychecks to herself by entering false information into the school’s accounting software.
