It seems that we may learn something new about the upcoming OnePlus 13 every day. Yesterday’s report showed that the phone will feature a 2K 8T LTPO screen. Today, Digital Chat Station shared details about its camera setup.

According to the insider, OnePlus 13 will have a triple camera system, each with a resolution of 50 megapixels. This includes a primary sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a telephoto lens.

This differs from the OnePlus 12, which has a 50-megapixel primary lens, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.

The source also mentioned that the OnePlus 13 telephoto lens will have a 3x optical zoom, just like the OnePlus 12, but called it “improved.” This could mean a larger sensor size or other improvements to the camera hardware. Hasselblad will continue to provide its optimization for the phone.

In addition, previous reports suggest that the OnePlus 13 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. The battery is also expected to receive an upgrade.

The leaks suggest that the upcoming OnePlus flagship will be powered by a 6000 mAh battery, up from 5400 mAh in the OnePlus 12. This should lead to longer operating time between charges. By the way, the phone is said to support 100W wired charging, but is rumored not to support wireless charging.

OnePlus brought back wireless charging in the OnePlus 12 after skipping it in the OnePlus 11. However, it looks like the company may skip this feature again in OnePlus 13.

The OnePlus 13 will undoubtedly be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which is expected to debut in October this year. The Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro will likely be the first phones with 8 Gen 4, but the OnePlus 13 is also expected to be released in the same month, making it one of the first devices with this new chip.
