April will see the launch of a month-long campaign focusing on raising awareness of the four key factors most often seen in fatal collisions on the roads. Officers from Norfolk Police will be targeting drivers committing offences such as excess speed, using a mobile phone, failing to wear a seatbelt and drivers who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The campaign is not solely focussed on prosecution, and will also provide us with the opportunity to engage with Norfolk road users and educate them about how impactive their decisions can be whilst driving.
