Thousands of giant spiders have been let loose in the UK after a popular zoo released the eight-legged monsters as part of a breeding scheme. The creepy crawlies were successfully bred in test tubes in a repopulation drive. Chester Zoo and the RSPB, who successfully saved the fen raft spider from near-extinction in the UK, reported that there are now more than 10,000 breeding females across the country.
