Malnutrition amongst Gaza’s population has killed 16 children according to health authorities speaking to Al-Jazeera, as famine across enclave is becoming increasingly dire. The famine has prompted new warnings by UN aid agency UNICEF, who’s regional director for MENA saying that “the child deaths we feared are here and are likely to rapidly increase unless the war ends and obstacles to humanitarian relief are immediately resolved”.
