Leeds United have unfortunately had to settle for a place in the Championship play-offs. The Whites headed into the final day needing a miracle to finish in second place ahead of Ipswich Town, and in truth, they never got close to achieving it. Ipswich Town only had to avoid defeat against an already relegated Huddersfield Town side and did so comfortably, sweeping them aside 2-0 at Portman Road.
