“A fair few quid” was raised for charity at a very competitive cricket tournament in East Garston at the weekend. “There was never a doubt that gathering 16 racehorse trainers on the cricket pitch would be anything other than very competitive – and so it turned out on a glorious day in East Garston,” said organiser Freddie Tulloch, from East Garston Cricket Club.
